Dr Carter has undertaken training and consultancy assignments for organisations such as Shell, Chevron, RBS, Coca Cola, Lucas Engineering and Systems, Virgin Media, Ericsson, British Aerospace, Serco, Boots, Caspian Pipeline Consortium and many more. Dr Carter has worked in many locations, including the Far East, Middle East, South America, Europe, Africa and the USA.
About the Creator of the 10c Model
DR RAY CARTER
Dr Carter’s 10 c supplier and evaluation model is now widely used and accepted by many in the procurement and contracting community as one of the primary methodologies by which suppliers and contractors are selected and evaluated.
Dr Carter is the creator of the10 c Model and the Director of DPSS Consultants (Developing People Serving the Supply Chain), www.dpss.co.uk, which is an international training and development consultancy made up of 25 specialist consultants. He began his management career in the public sector and thereafter for a large food manufacturer in the UK. He graduated from University with a Master’s Degree in Management Studies. His publications include Integrated Materials Management, Stores and Physical Distribution, Practical Procurement, Practical Contract Management and more recently Practical Negotiation.Dr Carter has had numerous articles and papers published in journals such as Supply Management, In-Tend and the Centre for Advanced Procurement’s Praxis publication.
